I mainly follow football (UK), NFL and NBA.

I have heard Sports Alerts mentioned a lot here, but many people say its buggy and scores are slow to update...

For football, FotMob is excellent. Also has a Watch app, no Live Activities obviously but still very handy.

Maps, AppleTV, Fantastical, Flighty. There are a ton of good apps that support it and I’ll bet most work in the UK too.

Does anyone know why I keep getting the pop up 'do you want to continue to allow live activities' on the Lock Screen when I am following a football match on Sports Alerts?

How do you set that up? I live in the UK and I don't see the option in the Apple TV app.

I’m really not sure. There was a notification from TV app that if I follow this match I’d get minute-by-minutes update. I did that & voila.


I’m using US Apple ID by the way. Perhaps this is why.

And I have to say Live Score from TV app is the best. Good updates throughout the match.
