Apple Card is the only one of these services I’m going to get. Unless I can save money by getting HBO through Apple. Who has the time to watch all these boring shows?

Here is the thing, why are the actors and directors just explaining to us the premise of the show, but not actually showing us even a minute of a trailer?
Really? It is obvious the content isn't ready yet. They are just trying to build hype for shows that are likely not to be available for quite a while.

You think we should be 'friends' with a huge commercial corporation? that's weird.

Don't be obtuse on purpose. You know what I meant.

I'm a lurker, seldom poster, but I genuinely can't tell if most of the posters here S**t talk apple for fun or are seriously unloading their frustrations on a company that doesn't even know they exist.

Macrumor forums has superlative tech advice when I have mac issues and great recommendation for new apps or accessories, but the general tone of the comments in news articles is so incredibly acidic that it makes me wonder why even bother being here.

No one should blindly worship anything, but blind hate sure is the norm here.

Yeah I just turned this **** off. What a misguided company. Tim can't grow the company in markets where he is failing (India, China), so instead focus on where the products are already popular and shove another streaming service down the publics throat.

Yuck.

Like all of the manufactured challenges / trends set up by Netflix to get their shows trending like the Bird Box Challenge?

Netflix has been in the game so long tho that they can get away with that and not look cringey doing it.

The premise of those movies like Bird Box and Bright take well known Oscar winning actors and put them into ridiculous movies that nobody would see in the theater, and let them have fun with it.

I guess I am in the minority, I feel this presentation is spot on and done really well. Love the new Apple Card with daily cash and the news+ app looks promising. Will definitely tune it to watch some of these new shows. Will need to see how this all shakes out in terms of bundles and prices but I love how much Apple is doing to protect privacy. Just overall a great presentation from start to finish. So many complainers on here:(

Whatever happens, this is going to be a pivotal event in Apple’s history for better or for worse. If I had to bet, having seen the top tier talent they’re working with and the insane amount of capital Apple has to invest, we might be about to witness the birth of what may end up becoming a media giant on par with The Walt Disney Company and Comcast.

Maybe? The Marvel franchise alone is worth around $18 Billion. With their acquisition of Fox, Disney owns so, so much content. And it's legacy stuff. Toy Story, The Lion King, etc. are classics. They'll still be valuable decades from now.
