Well true, but in Europe the broadcasting standard for satellite and cable is at least 1080i. And please keep in mind that the crappy iTunes 720p movies are only encoded with something like 3Mbit/s.

the point is that BD has it and u actually own the movie

lol 4,99 $ for a new released movie to rent, i can get the BD with special features a digital copy etc for 14 $ during its first week of release
 
Removing storage from Apple TV is fine as we have a smaller, cooler device, but it does mean you have no option to view stuff from your own library without your Mac on.
