Just listening to the (lack of) audience reaction to this portion of the event versus the remainder, clearly the :apple:TV is fail-sauce.

And for those of you experiencing stuttering live play right now....this is a nice demo of life with the new :apple:TV service as well.

New AppleTV = score!

I'm sure you can still purchase movies on iTunes and stream to your AppleTV. Who runs an appletv independent of a shared iTunes library, anyway?

I'll be upgrading all 3 AppleTVs in the house to this.

My biggest question is are they doing away with purchasing shows and movies? I'd rather pay for it once and own it. I don't wanna pay 99 cents everytime I wanna watch a show

Oh look, the streaming is all jumpy now. Perfect example of why streaming has downfalls, when you're trying to sell me streaming. Irony at it's finest.

One more Apple event, one more failed Macbook Air update announcement. Lets hope for a stealth one instead?

this apple tv is really improved...first decent update (the touch with camera that cant take pictures is disappointing) today
