Apple TV Today?

Really hoping that Apple releases an iTV(Apple TV) with iOS cause then I'm definitely buying one but otherwise No thanks.

If you have an Apple component cable for the iPod Touch/iPhone you could hook it up to your TV.

This is what I'm hoping to do. I just plugged in my iphone to my tv using this cable (apple branded), and I tried to test it out by streaming some video podcast from the iTunes store and I only got audio out (my iphone played the video, tv played audio). But when I went to live.twit.tv, I got both video and audio out on my tv, so I'm hoping apple allows video out.

When i found out that its going to be spoilerfree and Live at the same time i was more than thrilled....

Set the iPod output to widescreen NTSC. That should work. I've watched NASA TV that way before.

Yes, the ipod touch will have a camera because Apple realizes the whole sole music player bit is dying and in order to keep things fresh these devices will need more features.
