I think it sets up for next year's larger iPhone release so that the 5C and 5S get bumped down in pricing and the larger iPhone enters the line.

Hope springs eternal. There are plenty who would argue with me that their iPhone 5 has a better camera. I haven't found that to be the case - and I like a lot of features Samsung brought to the table.

The only reason for the trolling and haters in this thread is that same old 4" screen size. If Apple had presented a 5+" OPTION today, people would be bowing down.

64 bit is absolutely huge. I think Android is at least 5 years away from 64 bit.

Its huge in which way? Android phones already use 2x memory of iPhone. What exactly Apple is going to use 64bits for?

FYI no lens on any smartphone with a camera of this size can resolve more than 8 megapixels. There is literally zero difference between a 12 trillion billion billion MP camera and an 8 megapixel camera in terms of detail captured.

We simply do not have the technology to make a lens that can capture more detail without being larger.

Exactly. It's not so long ago that the best DSLRs were only 8mp, and they were fine for purpose.

More megapixels means more pixels crammed onto a sensor, which means more noise. Not to mention stupidly huge picture sizes. All these people who want 12mp sensors, seriously how many of them are going to be viewing their pics at poster size?
