64-bit with entirely re-written apps, significantly improved camera, a fingerprint scanner that actually works. Sure. Uninspiring. They should have just come out with a 6" octa-core monster with an 82MP camera. Now that would have been "innovative." 🙄

64bit has no significant use. Camera is barely improved. Fingerprint scanner so you save 5 seconds once a week or so when you buy something on itunes. Battery life stays about the same. Yeah, uninspiring.

Yes, because the difference between $1680 (2 year contract @ 70/month with free phone) and $1780 (2 year contract @ 70/month with $99 phone) is absolutely staggering.

The only reason for the trolling and haters in this thread is that same old 4" screen size. If Apple had presented a 5+" OPTION today, people would be bowing down.

Either way, it's going to sell like crazy again.

Then they would say Samsung and HTC did it first. There's no reasoning with people who blindly worship a company. Same as the XBOX vs PS arguments. They're all pointless.

iPhone 5 is basically the same phone as the 5s. That's why.

64-bit means that the RAM requirement for pointers just doubled. Thats not an insignificant cost.

Ugh I can't believe the 4S is sticking around....

BUT

I think it sets up for next year's larger iPhone release so that the 5C and 5S get bumped down in pricing and the larger iPhone enters the line.

Oh well....

Some folks prefer the smaller footprint.
