This is a business machine for people who travel and need e-mail and MS Office.

Core 2 Duo is still FAR overpowered for that kind of work. I love how people are like "What!? It's only 10x faster than it needs to be instead of 100x? I won't buy it!"

I bought an HP Envy 14 with 1600x900 screen, aluminum body, backlit keyboard, core i5, 160gb ssd, 1gb ATI 5650, switchable graphics for $1100 instead

It's a good class of processor for a netboo.... I mean macbook air.

I had my credit card ready today to buy a MBA refresh but given what I'm seeing here now, I just slid it back into my wallet. Besides I'm not all that jazzed up about the changes that 10.7 are introducing. I'm concerned that it will impact multitasking or the freedom of installing software that I choose, i.e., not wanting an app store.
