MacBook Air 13" and previous generation MacBook Pro (13" & 15") still available to buy. MacBook Air 11" gone.
Summary:
- Nothing on the Mac Pro
- Nothing on the iMac
- Nothing on the Mac Mini
- Nice new laptop.
I'm left going ... thank god I got a 2015 MacBook Pro with all the ports I need!!! I could NOT do my job with these portless macs. I do not care about dongles, they cost to much and get LOST!
I just realised I own the last truly functional Mac book pro. I'm going home to make sure it doesn't break any time soon- there are no reasonable replacements.

Crazy money for these, such an easy pass. They could have easily made the entry 899.99 and gone up from there since they killed the Air model. So essentially they just did what the iPad Pro line up did.. add one new item.. call it Pro.. and shut down the smaller models that are non-pro.
Worthwhile! Wont' buy touch bar device until at least the next gen when the price drops, but still worthwhile. Would love to see new iMacs! TV is also becoming more compelling!
Very happy with the normal 13" Pro, pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Not opting for touch bar.
The touch strip is cool and all...but if touch is really such a huge step forward, why not just skip that and make it a full touch screen?
I'm at a loss to explain what i just saw. did they really just call in the media for a special announcement just to announce the touch bar and the tv app? seriously? did they even watch microsoft's announcement the other day?

I've joined Apple fan club just 3 years back, but seriously they cant possibly be that proud of a new touch bar?
Which imo isn't that great as for me at least it'll take the eyes off the screen to look at it, and to even reach it for my average sized hands.

So I can't even charge my new iPhone 7 on this unless I get an adapter. Seems like Apple is confused with what they want, disappointing really.
