You have to not have a brain to think that wasn't bad...

So the 4GB Video RAM is a CTO and funnily enough, there seems to be no mention that it can be upgraded to anything more than 16GB?

At this point.... the only thing that is going to make these fools come to their senses is for Apple Stock to get MURDERED. Right now those morons are high fiving each other ... while the rest of the world is saying APPLE IS DEAD.
Since 1987... but no more. I'm done. RIP Apple!

its honestly embarrassing them using an LG display and advertising it during a mac rebirth keynote,

a true reflection of the times, not the display being LG but just relying on 3rd party to make a fully configured recommendation

APPLE HAS SPOKEN. We are a social phone and tablet company.

We get updated ATV software and new laptops with a couple gimmicky features and Apple's bigotry towards ram continues with only 16GB.

What we didn't get.

1. No 4k support for ATV.
2. No MacPro update.
3. No iMac update. (although after MSs Surface launch, who cares)
4. No Mini update.
5. No Cinema Display (great, showing off the competitor's display again)
6. NO NEW INNOVATIVE PRODUCT NOT THOUGHT OF OR SEEN BEFORE.

I'm not going to read through 88 (now 94) pages to see if someone else already asked, but... Where's the port for my new Apple EarPods? Now they're not supporting their OWN accessories less than 2 months after releasing them? Never thought it would be Apple making such obvious blunders.

Well guys, that was a bit disappointing if I'm honest.

My thoughts:

- The Touch Bar: nothing special, it seems to be more cumbersome than just using trackpad and screen, you know, like we've been doing for years and years. They are trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist.

Craig said: "Changing your brightness was never easier" Oh, really? lol...

- Trackpad: good, bigger is better in this case. I hoped it could recognize the Pencil as some rumors suggested. But still, it's good, I'm happy about it.

- Keyboard: if it's the same as the MacBook: GARBAGE

- Speakers: Good.

- Ports: CRAP, was it hard to add a SD-card slot!?! Adapters, here I come :(

- The specs: Meh, of course it'll be faster. But we are getting the same storage and same ram for the same price. Wish they'd give 512gb of storage as base for the 15"

If the Mac Pro was actually selling they would update it.

The reason it's not selling is because they haven't updated it. If they would update it, it would actually sell. The current version frankly sucks, especially for the price.

Seriously, can you think of a single Apple product that would still sell if they went three years without an update? If anything they're hoping that sales tank so they can make an excuse and kill off the product.

Apple just let down their Mac customers. the MBP? sure its nice. i like one and may get one.

but... the rest of the mac product line? the entire rest of the product line? nothing new. just a 25 minute presentation on the Apple TV software update.

Starting to feel like the Mac Product line needs an dedicated team that won't get pulled into other company initiatives.

If you have seen the new Microsoft Surface desktop? brilliant in comparison to the iMac.

I'm considering branching out soon to re-integrate more windows devices. no joke.

RIP Mac mini, iMac and Mac Pro.

Many pundits have speculated that if Apple didn't refresh the desktop Macs, it may be done with them.

Apple should be ashamed. $247 BILLION in cash and this is what the come up with?? ... "can't innovate my ASS!"... "Best product pipeline ever!".... sheesh! What are they smoking?

My iMac and Mac mini replacements may be the Microsoft surface Studio and the HP slice.
I passed on the iPhone 7 and I'm glad I did.

It's becoming less and less compelling to stay in the Apple ecosystem for me.

What a joke. I am a professional filmmaker and would NEVER edit on a laptop (also Final cut is FAR from pro). I use my MacBook Air on location and as a knock around machine on journeys then bring material back to my Desktop. Going to seriously look into making a change as my iMac (first and last all in one) is about to die.
