Sorry for the dummy question and I know the answer is probably NO!

but, is there anyway of seeing this live? or is it just the usual photo coverage?

or even listen to it?

Why not an audio-only feed? It would not be hard to do.

I wish we could see it live. Apparently the technology doesn't exist yet(?):p Guess they want the press to see it first even though there should be plenty of blog feeds with pics.

Have a dig around on Justin.tv or Ustream. Sometimes they have streams but they usually are really bad quality and get taken down.

20-30 minutes delay? thats insane. How long does it take to upload a pic, text and make a tweet...?

They're going low-tech and discrete, with carrier pigeons and smoke signals, so Apple doesn't suspect them re-transmitting the show! And there's at least a 20-30 minute delay with even the best pigeons & smoke. ;)

Apple does not allow live audio or video streaming. Apple will likely release a video version as a podcast tonight or tomorrow morning. There will, no doubt, be some people in the audience attempting to transmit live audio and/or video. My experience is that these streams always suck.

I recommend opening the engadget.com texting stream as well as listening to twit.tv's panel discussing the event live. Yes, the panel will have no more information than the engadget texting stream, but they will have insight on some topics that will fill in some gaps you may have.

Apple used to broadcast live video. Never any mention of why they stopped.

It will be interesting to see what they bring to the market. It's strange to have a sense of real excitement, as I'm still on the fence regarding getting an iPad.

When I got the iPhone 4 on launch day, I was so taken by the screen and resolution, that getting an iPad with screen that was more akin to the iPhone 3G just didn't make sense.

If they do indeed offer an upgraded screen and perhaps a few other exclusive new beneficial technologies, I may cave and get one. Otherwise I'll just keep enjoying my '11 13" air.

9to5Mac is saying there will not be a 128gb model. Bummer if true.

CC is ready.

I have the Credit Card ready. whoop whoop! Anyone want to speculate when we will be able to buy/reserve the iPad 3?

iTunes is now specifying file sizes for 720p HD. Seems like a reasonable bet that 1080p will appear soon.
