i honestly dont understand how they can justify dropping the optical drive just to make it thinner. are you gonna carry around your desktop?
 
Nice! A6X in the iPad already. I guess that's why they dropped the number from the iPad. This was sort of out of the blue. People weren't expecting it until later. They just expected the Lightning port.
 
Wow, Apple must be feeling the heat if they need to update the iPad "twice" a year. Are we still getting the Mini?

Resale value down the drain and more money in Apple's coffers.

Why the hell would you remove an optical drive from a desktop??

As for stuck in the past...............ok yeah, buying CD's is SOOOOOO last year

Just wait..........new itunes will probably remove the ability to rip CD's
