these keynotes are getting soooooo lame.... and Tim cook makes them worse.

Not that new products aren't welcome, but when I turned to the live stream, I couldn't tell if it was todays event, or an old repeat. Same old talking points for every product. Same presentation. I wish they did an alternate 5 min. flash keynote, where they just simply came out and said which models are getting marginally faster, marginally thinner, what new specs are they getting... and save us the never ending hyperbolic "most awesome" bs.

And PLEASE, enough already with the screaming fans in the back: this cheering is getting old and predictable. I bet they are the same paid d-bags in every keynote.

Anyway... cheers!

I believe they are actual apple employees placed there to applaud.

No one gets that excited over insane prices.

"for the low price of $1699"

*OH MY GOD. LETS CLAP!*

I'm somewhat new to Macs but i've always had the impression that iMacs especially when brand new would at cost at least $2000. Is this price a surprising thing to you guys?

The new iMac is so sexy!! Too bad the've made it less pro friendly than before, even. I'll be buying the next mac pro or whatever replaces it, but my dad will love this!

I can't decide whether I'm in love with the new iMac or whether I'm annoyed that they are focusing too much on making it thin.

Seems like that's all they can sell anything on these days. Appeal to the female / tech dumb segment. Oh my god looks so cute i want to buy!

SO NO OPTICAL DRIVE FOR IMAC? So Apple assumes everything is moving to streaming for movies and music? I still would like to rip my music and we can not rip DVDs through iTunes until the movie industry sucks it up. Sucks that we would have to buy separately a super drive separately costly now.

Dude...that writing has been on the wall for some time now.

I like the way Tim does all the filler talk and Schiller announces the actual products.
