Whats the point. Its not really a 4" screen its just taller.
Yes there are some features that are nice but not enough to make an upgrade worth it.

All screens are measured diagonally.

Anyway, it may not be enough to make it worth your while to upgrade, but I'm sure it will be worthy enough for lots of people.

You people are so predictable. Someone posted earlier on saying that everyone would be complaining in about an hour and your just proving his point.

there isn't a single thing so far that we don't already know for months on Macrumors.... I will buy it still, because I am heavily invested in iOS, but this is really underwhelming. (I have been using iOS6 and for anyone who has, 99% of those features are already there for us in the past months.)

Preorders on the 14th. I'm a little disappointed. I wanted to pre-order today.

Yeah, i did. I'm thinking maybe preorder may start today.

maybe, but probably not. apple pushed back pre-orders for the 4s by a week or so if i'm not mistaken. the store being down is standard - they're updating everything that is being announced, whether orders are taken today or not.

By that measure, the Galaxy SIII had modest yearly updates over the SII.

Until foldable screens become viable (probably not for a few years), that's probably all we'll see from everyone. What will the SIV have? I'm guessing a faster processor, faster GPU, better battery life, perhaps a better camera. It isn't as if 5G wireless is around the corner (LTE-A is a relatively minor improvement). I doubt even Samsung will go much larger with the screen than they already have (the Note is HUGE and that's probably the limit).

I don't even care about the SIII.. I'm not looking nor considering an SIII.. But I am staying with my 4S...

This is the weakest iPhone announcement ever. I waited to see if Apple would do something great before buying an S3 to replace my iPhone, but they didn't.

Hello, Galaxy S3

:D

I have the 4S as my personal phone and a work S3. I honestly don't find the S3 quite as "amazing" as all the Android fanboys make it out to be. It's a good phone, but not the lighyears ahead of iPhone that it is often billed as.

But most consumers don't go onto MacRumors. All that says is that Apple either isn't doing as good a job of keeping secrets, or doesn't care if the product leaks. We get leaks of Samsung and other Android phones, too. We just don't have as many websites following them.

You can't base your whole marketing campaign off things like that though. Apple always does this.

If Apple "can't" do whatever you're implying, then they "can't" be as popular as they are, right? $40B in revenue for 2011. And on release days, there's lines around the block. They're doing it right. I guarantee that if they put you in charge of marketing they would see a loss in sales. ( Myself included )

iOS 6 on 19th, but no mention of a developer build today like in previous keynotes.

Also, we've moved onto music, which means new iPods but no iPhone 5 exclusive feature of iOS 6? Odd.
