The new Nano... The back looks good apart from the white thing on the bottom.

As for the front.. I don't like it. :(

Late October for the iTunes upgrade. It must be an early beta still.

Hopefully they find a better way to get documents onto an iPad. I use it for work, and we disable certain iCloud features. Plugging into the current iTunes and using the Apps tab is clunky to say the least.

So, why doesn’t Apple bother to ask people questions like “Would you rather have a thinner and thinner phone or and phone you don’t have to worry about breaking with lots more power and battery life?” or “Do you really care how many countries are getting the iPhone?” I think they should get off their high horse and concentrate on reinventing the iOS. What is this a race to see who can get to the paper phone first? How easy is this thing going to snap?

Not very easy, would be my guess.

Can someone please explain to me what everyone is moaning about ?

You have a phone that looks different, a new style, a new design.
You have a thinner, lighter phone
You have a bigger screen, with pro level color accuracy
You have an improved camera, both hardware and software side
You have your A6 SoC that you all wanted, 2x as fast CPU and GPU
You also have LTE
All while keeping the same battery life ?

Oh, darn it, theres no NFC. That makes it such a big failure.

Not.

I don't actually know what else they could of done.

Hear, hear! My favorite complaint is that the 5 isn't "new enough."

It's all good, just not as good as Samsung phones. Nobody really cares for a super slim phone. Bigger battery would be a much smarter choice. Screen size and resolution are both smaller than what Android phones have (not to mention ridiculous black-boxing for a majority of apps). Camera is the same. The new camera features (like panorama)... Everybody has had them for quite a while. "pro level color accuracy"? Sure. How exactly do you calibrate you iPhone for that? Besides, even if it was true, nobody really cares for super color accuracy on such a small screen.

Nobody cares for a super slim phone? That's why Motorola's biggest seller is the RAZR line and why Samsung has attempted to keep the SIII relatively thin.

The camera is better. Just because they didn't add megapixels doesn't mean it isn't better. As for the screen, there's nothing magical about a 4.5" screen. Apple clearly values one-handed use, and that is difficult on an SIII (I've used one).

Just my own .02 - but there's a point where I no longer want my hand held device that thin. I like a LITTLE weight/thickness so it doesn't feel like it's going to snap in my hand or pocket.

Does anyone else have the urge to run up stage and yell "we already know all this stuff!!! tell us something new !!"
