The bitchers are really as amazing as this iPhone.
Wish I could ask them what more it is they want from a phone.
While I was following the presentation I often thought WOW what a great phone, despite knowing most of it from MR.
It also became clear that I may not even use HALF of the stuff you can do with this phone and I am sure I am not the only user like that.
That being said , I'll check one out in the store when it's available to feel and use and maybe if ATT let's me upgrade early I'll consider it.
Once LTE is everywhere it may be time to get rid of the unlimited plan.
If ATT does the same as they did with 3G I have 2 years until that happens.
By then we'll all have iPhones implanted in our ears

I have a 245GB music library and I am not using lossless. My FLAC CD rips are about the same size, but they're a third of my total catalog.
So even a 220GB iPod Classic would not hold either all my lossy music or all my lossless music. And a 256GB NAND-FLASH iPod would barely hold either - and at the rate my lossy collection grows, I'd probably exceed 256GB within 12 months.
Maybe Creative needs to come back with the old CD-sized NOMAD using a 3TB 3.5" HDD.
The Foo Fighters thing feels more than a little apologetic. I'm happy I'm not there right now, the awkwardness in the room must be choking.
I wanted a phone that was wider, with the same resolution.
Once you get older you will understand why.
If phones could only adjust for vision, reading glasses would be a thing of the past. Bigger phones too.

Underwhelming keynote we all agree, apple playing catchup, etc i agree to extent but the more I look at the new iPhone the more I realise its a good upgrade and will be very successful in its first weekend of sales. I think the thinness is a compelling feature of it when comparing it to Sg3 which I like but without the plasticy feel.

For a 3gs person, it was great. For us 4S owners, it was a bit underwhelming. And I still don't care for that long screen.
I'll probably get it, but this is the first time I can say I'm tempted to stay away from this one. But the LTE is probably what will sell it for me.
Overall underwhelming presentation.
The whole revolution --> evolution --> revolution cycle of the iPhone is gone. They will all be minor updates from now on.

Apple's intentions to use glass were to have a better reception with all the chips they stack inside the phone... that was their intention from Mark Papermaster, the Hardware Designer along with the execs at the time. In the days of the iPhone 4 release, the thing had issues with the antenna if you remember upon debuting. The hopes for better reception with double-sided exterior glass in turn, didn't happen at all... and more or less in a simple sense, hurt the durability & made the phone twice as likely to break with the front & back both having Corning's gorilla glass, which comprised of over 80% of the actual phone surface.
Basically, they knew the iPhone 4 & 4s sold a ton, but a lot of re-buys were, of course, due to a haphazard phone having glass on both sides... which lead to more screens being unusable, and now viable to receive a new one through most phone insurance plans.
The iPhone 5 will have much more strategic allocated places for all the chips by utilizing the alu back...

I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed still though!

Have fun with that POS. returned mine in 20 hours. Light leakage, AWFUL battery life not to mention You pay the same for all apps they just aren't regulated so apps like espn don't fit the screen and have messed up font sizes. But have fun!
Did I mention it takes 6 hours to charge
Not getting into the whole S3 vs. Iphone argument but I have an S3 and it takes 1 hour to charge. No light leakage and as far as the apps go I have no idea what you're talking about so I'll just leave it at that.
