These circular icons look disgusting.

Besides - where the hell is the new iPod Classic???? That is the one, which is begging for an update.

Shhhh! If we keep quiet, maybe Apple will forget to butcher that product as well.

Oh a serious note - I need to see these products a bit closer up to make a proper judgement. But from what I have seen that iPod Nano is pretty hideous.

iO6 is even more disappointing. They tweaked some apps yet the rest of it is pretty much the same as iOS1.

Totally the same. Still tapping icons on something you hold that makes calls and surfs the web. Nothing has changed. C'mon, Apple, enough with the alphanumerics already!

So Apple INCREASED the price of the Tough by $50 AND removed the $199 model. Thus the cheapest Touch is $299 (for the newest model).

Does Apple really believe Mommy and Daddy are going to buy their 12 year old a $300 Touch when it used to be $200? I don't think so.

I, for one, am no longer in the market for a Touch for the kids.

My iPhone 4s already feels obsolete. :( I'm not sure how I feel about iTunes, it looks mean and less inviting.

I like how everything has color now, except for the iphone. I wish they made a red iPhone 5.

I don't see the 3 speaker voice cancellation thing working well for apple. cases will screw with that. Interesting seeing the ipod touch get siri, but how many will understand that she needs wifi to work?

Looks like the tagline they're going with is
"iPhone5. The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone"

What update can Apple offer for the Classic except the 220GB and 200GB Toshiba HDDs? And considering Toshiba brought those out in early 2011, that Apple didn't offer them at the 2011 iPod event is a strong hint they would not offer them at the 2012 event.

Thats like 15,000 songs or more music than you could listen to in a month if you listened to music 24/7.
(Then again, bitch bitch bitch, moan moan moan.)

Spoken like someone who doesn't have a clue.

15,000 at what bit rate exactly?

What about if you want to take your entire music collection with you and didn't want to spend hours cherry picking tracks that you might not listen to?

What about if you want a repository for all your music instead of just a portable jukebox for walking down the street?

What about the fact flash storage is even cheaper and faster than ever yet Apple still think it's 2009?

Not to mention all the OS space wasted on apps you might not want.

Watch a video or store music? Can't have both when you start filling it up too quickly.

Stick to your low bitrate, Katy Perry from iTunes like the rest of the kids and I'm sure you'll be fine. The rest of us music lovers will have to look elsewhere.

The Foo Fighters are on stage. Well that is nice for the invited guests.

Hope we get some hands on reports today of how the new iPhone feels and how fast it is on LTE.

You can get the 16gb touch for $199.

Haha. Jacqui at ArsTechnica on the Foo Fighters:

"If you haven't seen them before, you're about to discovery why"

Anything not in parentheses is being said on stage, not being said by Jacqui.

What I don't understand is when I see people using an iPhone and then they pull out an iPod! I sometimes want to go over an ask why! (Unless the iPhone is a works phone, but sometimes i doubt that).

It just doesn't make any sense.

I'm thinking about starting to do this. For me, it's about battery life. My 4S can't make it through a full day without a recharge, and I don't always have access to power. It's not my preferred solution by any means, but I need that music for the final commute home!
