The only reason for this keynote was to show off how great we are for the environment before going into a session with the FBI, and we made videos...see...did you see the videos...yea...this event should have been a website update.
stream not working on the Uk site?
Complain on the product, sure... not a damn keynote. The complaining here isn't on the products - it's because they weren't "entertained" or surprised enough - even though these same people clamor and run to every rumor out there. We're already discussing the screens on the iPhone 8, and the 7 isn't even a reality at this point. You mean the same consumers who have spent all their hard earned wages buying all the Apple products over the years to put the company where it is today? I think if you spend you're entitled to complain.
The Apple lineup is starting to get messy. They have the cheapest iPhone being the SE which has better internals than the more expensive iPhone 6 and 6 plus as well as the smaller iPad Pro with better internals than its larger counterpart. And now they are naming both iPad sizes "iPad Pro" making the accessories confusing as they now have to specify what size it is. They could have at least called it the iPad Pro and iPad Pro Plus to give some sort of differentiation.
Maybe in 2018. The new Mac Pro is just too new for me still. Now I know why I bought a Nexus 6P for $399 last month lol - My slow move away from Apple is accelerating.
Anyone for a 2013 $3,000 MacPro?
Didn't I see here somewhere that they may be waiting for the next ones, in an attempt to line up all of their displays (including a potential new 5K TB display) that Skylake wouldn't be able to handle? I'm not sure... at the very least, I'd expect news this summer - likely a MBP redesign. The new Intel Skylake chips are getting old already now!
It seemed obvious to me that they were implying a move away from laptop computing toward tablets... the jokes about "5-year-old PC's" were laughable, since that's practically how old the current processors are in any of the Pro lines.hmm... It does occur to me, though, that they were saying "personal computing." And they may be thinking of that as distinct from "professional computing"... possibly... I mean, they know for a fact that Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, and even Xcode don't run on these things, so they can't abandon the Mac entirely. At least not any time soon.
