Everyone complaining - you have no one but yourselves and the tech/rumor sites to blame. What, Apple's wrong for announcing exactly what these super-sleuths dug up 3-4 months ago? It wasn't EXCITING enough for you - a late-March announcement?

They'll announce new Macs when the new Intel chips are ready - they're probably looking at a redesign as well.

God*** I hate whiny consumers...

You mean the same consumers who have spent all their hard earned wages buying all the Apple products over the years to put the company where it is today? I think if you spend you're entitled to complain.

Boring.. Now I am waiting until next week for Tesla's event where they will unveil a whole new car that has not been leaked one bit during it's years of development.. I think Apple used to be able to create that sort of anticipation right?

I want Liam The Robot! When will it be available through the Apple Store? I take it for granted that it will come in beautiful white cardboard boxes with silver apples on the sides.

The improved screen (less reflective and better color gamut) really sold me on the iPad, since I'm mainly using it for photos and for e-reading. Expensive for that, but I'm willing to get it. I don't need much space though so the 32 GB is fine for me.

The only thing boring is the predictable comments here. And for Gurman supposedly telling us everything beforehand he didn't get iPad Air 2 or iPhone SE prices correct. Nobody was predicting either to start at $399.

Apple, since we are no longer innovating and recycling instead, could I please have a iPhone 4 with wth iPhone 6S internals

now everyone is in dismay because we all were expecting a 2 hour long event....

Now that's why the audience was stunned (or shocked) either one.

My prediction for next keynote major announcement

" we are excited today to announce a new power cord for the mac now 2 inches longer making it the greatest power cable on the planet!!"

Wow, a bunch of you guys are just complainers. Just be happy they even had an event for you! All you do is criticize, talk trash, and make fun of everything. What a bunch of entitled people. Learn to be grateful.

Exactly. More gratitude for a $100 price hike in exchange for less than $100 of more features:

The new Intel Skylake chips are getting old already now!

Interesting. I always have meager expectations and Apple continues to under perform those expectations.

I was hoping that the 128GB 9.7 Pro would weigh in at most at $699. And that the smart keyboard cover would be $100 (no price difference was announced).

I suppose $50 over the previous 128GB Air 2 price for the Pro is not bad. I think I'll wait a bit to see what deals materialize.

Always like watching the keynotes as they come up with some classic quotes such as we listened to what people were wanting, a 4" phone that has the same specs as the 6s, wonderful...how about the part where most were saying give us a better base capacity than 16GB (well about 12GB once iOS is factored in), so you can make the most of the new features such as 4K video with your existing apps and data...

As for 600 million PC's over 5yrs old and the iPad Pro 9.7 being a good replacement, I don't know many standard PC's these days being at the £500-600 price mark with 32GB of storage, more like £300 with monitor and often a free printer and terabytes. If you are wanting to spearhead a dump your old PC and switch to iPad campaign you certainly need to make the price more competitive (factoring in storage and lack of upgrade capabilities on an iPad)

Did anyone catch the bit where Tim compared the processing power on the iPad Pro to the Xbox 360?

Why is that relevant in 2016?

Yep... he said it was "better" than an xbox. Probably thought there must of been some motive otherwise he wouldn't have bought it up.

10:52 am 12 cores of graphics power. More than an Xbox 360 in "a device that you hold in the palm of your hands."

Disappointing event, though most of us knew this before hand so it wasn't much of a surprise.

Phil Schiller's 'jokes' went down like a lead ballon. He was the only one laughing at his own jokes.
I think you mean Greg's jokes. He was just awful.
