Looks like protruding cameras are a thing now... That iPad Pro camera makes me feel uncomfortable.

The question I have is why do I need a better camera in my iPad? I mean its great to have the best available in your phone since its the camera usually with you. But the iPad. I don't see too many people talking pics w/ their iPad. I never do. It's awkward. This just seems like one of those "we have to add something so we can grab more $ features."

I have to laugh at the iPad concern trolls in my Twitter feed right now. People who use the iPad as mostly a consumption device to watch movies, surf the net, go on Facebook, read books etc. don't need the latest and greatest specs. I have an iPad Air 2. It does all of those things perfectly fine. I think Apple has finally realized iPad sales are never getting back to where they were in 2011. The iPad Pro will become more capable and an a laptop replacement for some and the Air and mini will be cheaper and get updated less frequently, mostly for those that want pure consumption device.

The problem is that Apple updates severely slow down older iPads. If they didn't eff them up, I would agree with you. This really wasn't much more than the usual iPad updates that you would expect - except the "pro" moniker and the extra c-note in cost.

I can't think of one single pro (real) camera that doesn't have a big lens of one sort or the other. This is a silly notion that a pro camera can't have a lens that sticks out a bit. If you want it to lay flat then give up on the idea of a great camera. Or carry a much thicker phone....
Wait, did you just compare the iPad pro with a pro DSLR? There is nothing Pro about the iPad camera.

Another Jovy Ive free keynote! Keep them coming! So nice Apple is no longer bullying previous Steve Jobs approved design. Solid lineup for iPhone and iPad, looking good!

Wow, a bunch of you guys are just complainers. Just be happy they even had an event for you! All you do is criticize, talk trash, and make fun of everything. What a bunch of entitled people. Learn to be grateful.

Probably not going to happen until they mature a bit and get into college. Assuming that happens. Until then it's just typical high school antics.

This freaks me out. What if the only device launched in Fall 2016 is an iPhone Pro, with same exterior but beefed-up internals?!

Wow, I don't think I have ever been so disappointed in an Apple event - Congratulations Apple you've held an event and released nothing that I even remotely want! I thought I'd never be an Apple sceptic too.

I'm fighting the discouragement that came from today's event. I'm hoping that they release some stuff each month and I can get some confidence back!
