iPad 3 remains the ugly red headed step child.
Why? Macbook Air was smaller? No. It was lighter and thinner.
If they are only putting the A7 in the air and no touch ID. I don't think we are getting a retina mini (just not enough to make them diff...).
The drivers still seem to be a bit less 'optimized' for gaming, especially game specific bugs. At least such is the case with the workstation card on my laptop. I'm sure the gap has narrowed though and they are still great cards for all purposes. I'm speaking of nvidia. I've been away from ati for a few years. That was true in the past, when you had to get a gaming card for gaming, and a pro card for editing. These days I get the impression that GPUs have homogenized a bit, and the only difference between the two is that pro cards generally have more ram and stream processors on them.
A pro card be about as good at gaming as the generation line it's based off of, though getting one just for gaming would be WAY overkill. You wouldn't be getting a lot of bang for your buck there.
Mini gets retina.
Only A7 chip and still 802.11n wireless. I would have thought it would get AC and a jacked up processor. Oh well.
