After much googling, it was carefully selected as the background. I think it was from the keynote unveiling the new design in 2012. I think Schiller spun it to the side so that you could see how thin it was. Glad you enjoyed it!
I am the only techy person in my house, and still the rest of my family watches the keynotes with me. They like Apple because they are not techy people.
I can't remember if it's Eddie or Phil who said beautiful about 20 times during the iPhone keynote. Someone should buy these guys a thesaurus so they can use new adjectives.

Are you overseas? Over here in the states the keynotes are always in the middle of the work/school day. Fortunately in recent years I now have an office with a door that I can close and focus on the event without distractions.

Oh, and maybe they'll say these are the best iPads, etc we've ever made like they did about the iPhone 6. What was the alternative, say that the iPhone 5S was better than the new one? Of course the new products are the best they've ever made.
I hate how Tim always says something like "We're not taking our foot off the gas" or "and we're not slowing down."
The reason I would hate that is I'd get all kinds of questions or one of them would get a phone call and answer it without leaving the room and I can't just yell SHUT UP, so I just watch it on my own (Even though I sat through the CMT awards for them...
)
