I can't remember if it's Eddie or Phil who said beautiful about 20 times during the iPhone keynote. Someone should buy these guys a thesaurus so they can use new adjectives.

I suppose it is intentional. So when you see that iPhone, you're conditioned to automatically think "beautiful".

I've never understood the thrill of the ipad and have never owned one or any tablet for that matter. I find the setup of an actual laptop more convenient with a real keyboard and it can rest on your lap or any other flat surface and not had to be held the whole time to use it.

To me its just a large ipod touch.

If they ever announce an ipad pro (sans ios walled garden) that would perk up my ears.

For me, productivity not so much. As a means to consume media without the weight of a laptop - my original iPad (I haven't gotten any of the newer gens) has been great.

Skylake would mean we are in October 2015 or possibly 2016. We won't be seeing Broadwell until next year in any Macs. Shame on Intel.

The reason I'm placing a bet on a new Apple TV is because during the last event Tim subtlety mentioned how he controls his Apple TV with his new Apple Watch.

Amazon has a lot of Mac Mini's for sale right now.

Sold by other sellers not directly by them (one model says 1-2 months shipping and that changed the other day - they're not great at predicting when they'll get stock in and have put that with previous Apple product refreshes).

The difference between you and millions of people: With the laptop, they then don't know what to do. The iPad makes it a lot easier for millions of people to use a computer. (And the things that are missing according to some people are all things that these millions of people couldn't do anyway).
