i am preparing by attaching the exploded battery from my 3G to my testes with copper wires and a 9v and furiously man-handling it to 1986s AppleWear catalog. i just didn't know what else to do for 20 minutes.

That's just about the only thing you can do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, I'm just not _very_ excited. I think I would be more excited if they would spread out these events more. I'm hoping for a surprise item, like an updated Apple TV with Siri, game controller support, and an App Store. Retina iMacs are cool, but I think I'm going to hold out for Skylake. At least that's what I keep telling myself right now!

I think it used to work with Safari on a PC, but the site now says "Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later."

Did Apple stop supporting Safari on PCs?

EDIT: Apparently so.....

Yeah that's the problem :( Well thanks for helping!

I agree with spreading them out. When the iPads were in March, Macs/OSX in June and iPhone + Misc. in the Fall, Apple always had something new. Now we get a 3 month super christmas and then Apple quietly fades for 9 months. The general public needs to be wowed more often than that.

WTF!? The room looks soo small. ROFL

I've never understood the thrill of the ipad and have never owned one or any tablet for that matter. I find the setup of an actual laptop more convenient with a real keyboard and it can rest on your lap or any other flat surface and not had to be held the whole time to use it.

To me its just a large ipod touch.

If they ever announce an ipad pro (sans ios walled garden) that would perk up my ears.

That invitation so much depicts cord-cutting not least with the cryptic tag line in mind "It's been way too long". Yes, it has. Hope to see some Apple TV related stuff as well.
