The new mini looks nice. There shouldn’t be many complaints about that device.

128is nearly useless, especially on a desktop with “an OS installed”

Depends what you use i for. My previous gen mac mini has been running for a few years now with a 128GB SSD.

It's just used as a server running a few services and plex, it's always on and headless.

So they've completely shredded the value proposition (save for the mini, which is somewhat justifiable) - unless they drop the price of the 12" Macbook (which makes no sense given the new price point of the MBA), I'm definitely going back to Windows.

I wonder what the Mini GPU options look like? D or just I?

No matter, I still think I’d go eGPU, but I wish there was an Apple branded option that matched the Mini, I guess the 3rd party options will continue to develop.

I don’t get the rMBa & rMB positioning at all. And Apple still has no sub $1000 option.

Aaah, I feel at home with all the complaints :) I am super excited about the new Air (I am assuming here the keyboard will work somewhat better than the MBP), the Mini is FINALLY really updated AND has actual I/O, now just terrify me with Euro prices!

Only 60% better graphics in 4 years? What kind of anaemic Mores law nonsense is that? Oh, and of course the base model now miraculously costs $300 more than the previous $499 base model. These deltas keep getting WORSE every update.
