So far what this event tells me is the new iPad Pros will definitely be more expensive than the current models.
Right, meant the 2012 model which I still own.The previous model had soldered RAM didn't it?
Apple ALMOST nailed the Mac Mini. They should have offered one with dual flash SSDs like the iMac Pro and a maybe a SATA bus for large 2nd SATA SSD. An i9 would have been nice.
Because the audience is full of Apple retail employees. Why is the audience so excited about Today at Apple? That got more cheers than the Mac Mini and the MacBook Air.
I'm not saying right now.. but price is eventually going to kill them. Competitors are coming out with nicer and nicer products for far less. No justification for these price hikes... money hungry.
How much for a 6 core mini with 32gb of ram? Am I remortgaging the house again?
So.. a 6 core in the Mini and not in the iMac? And how much is that going to cost?!
The new mini looks nice. There shouldn’t be many complaints about that device.
Yeah that's what I wanted to do with this one. Run a few headless services + plex. Not sure if I can rationalize the $800.
No you're not.
Sure am glad I sold my 2012 mac mini last month! This new one is nice and would have killed the value of the 2012.
I'd be all over the new mini if my needs hadn't changed to where I need mobility for my primary system.
LOL. Set an alarm next time.Dammit, I forgot it wasn't at 12 noon CST. I was watching a documentary on dogs instead and I was like...how are they announcing stuff without they keynote? Nevermind....
So they've completely shredded the value proposition (save for the mini, which is somewhat justifiable) - unless they drop the price of the 12" Macbook (which makes no sense given the new price point of the MBA), I'm definitely going back to Windows.
So $1200 for 128 gb of ram?
