So no simple smart covers for the new iPad Pro's? What about that new connector on the back that was supposed to be? I don't want a full folio to completely cover (and weigh down) my iPad Pro...

Is there a simple magnetic, smart cover for the new iPad Pro 12.9?

I'm not expecting a silent-update because 6- and 8-core processors would require different cooling, and that means a re-design. Plus updating the iMac and not the iMac Pro would cut into its sales.
No it wouldn't. The 8th gen (6-core) and 9th gen (8-core) intel chips generate the same amount of heat as the currently shipping 7th generation chips the iMac's current design is based off of.

That being said, Apple is a huge company. They should have enough resources to redesign the iMac for its 20th anniversary.

I loved Lana's performance. Was one of the few non disappointing moments.

I love Billy Joel and would have enjoyed hearing him but would be happier with no music. Would have taken away from what used to be a well-themed, focused event no matter how high my personal interest level. :)

Apple is charging $1,400 for 64GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, and $1,400 for a PCI-e 2TB SSD on the mini. Are they crazy?

64GB DDR4 2666MHz is $500 at most, and a 2TB PCI-e SSD is $600.

The Apple Tax is real and HUGE guys!

Within the Files app you can't do it. Seems that only Apps have the ability to create subfolders. I'm betting there's an app for that.

Exactly.. It's the dumbest thing ever.. On one hand you have Apple pushing the iPad Pro as a laptop replacement, yet you can't even create a damn folder local to the device.

You apparently haven't bought a MacBook Pro lately.

7th -> 9th gen isn't that small of a spec bump.

Just ask Intel.

Just a nice way to close out. Evidence of what people use Apple products for (Lana has used Macs for years and made the music videos for the songs that she got famous from in iMovie on her Polycarbonate White MacBook).

My Mid-2009 won't die. I want a new MacBook so bad, but sigh, she keeps on running...

switch before it dies! Now is the best time. Im gonna get the base model Air despite having same 8 GB ram like my machine...

I don't get what you're asking for. Creating a folder on an iOS device is simple, so are you complaining that you can't make it exclusive for the iPad? If so, what purpose would that serve?
Because our cell service sucks in many areas and local wifi is bad, hard to get on, or not available, you really need to have things locally.

So use the Mac for the difficult stuff. 90% of computing most people want to do can be done on the iPad.

Congratulations on pulling a number out of thin air.

Every time I want to access a document on my iPad that was created elsewhere I have to wait for it to download. Crap experience. The lack of in document search from spotlight on iOS is also terrible.

Tons of other examples of things that should be easy that are far from it.

I work supporting IT in education, and 'most people' constantly find things that they either can't do on the iPad or are far more complex.

Yes the iPad is pretty much there for consumption, but its still a long way off for creation.

ipad Pro is stunning, in particular the 12.9 version. I'm a bit bummed that with the keyboard folio it looks to be thicker than the surface pro, but I'm just guessing from the pics/video. It looks like the folio covering the back of the device makes it twice as thick, my guess is somewhere around 10mm, where there SP6 is around 8mm. I wish Apple would just put a kickstand on the ipad, I'll gladly take the extra 2-3mm and they can even add a tiny bit more battery life that way.

At 5.9mm don’t think the keyboard accessory will add 4-5mm.

well at least the iPad Mini still has the display with the most PPI ;)

(326ppi compared to 264ppi)
