He's an operational logistics and financial guy, i.e. bean counter. Contrast that with what Steve Jobs did - being a visionary.

Problem with this setup is then the bluetooth adapter needs to be charged. What I am trying to avoid is just one more thing to charge. That is why I use 3.5mm headphones, etc.

You're right! But the battery of the adapter I used lasted at least a month, shouldn't be the biggest deal. And when you have USB or 12V you can charge it permanently inside your car. Like a stationary setup.
