I would place my bet on those data farms to be installed by IBM. No offense, just like a bit of irony every now and then.
They're full of HP Proliant series servers. (I know a couple of people who work there.)
Our data center in NC is not too far from Apple's.

IBM hasn't produced a decent rack server in years. They sucked back when I used to worked for them.
Back-plains on the blade servers had a high failure rate.
It was very hard for us to recommend our own servers when the competition was making a better, and cheaper, product.

IBM's hardware division, what's left of it anyway, is more of an after thought. They see themselves as a "services" company now.

These are the prices in Canada in case anyone was wondering...

7
32gb $899
128gb $1029
256gb $1159

7 plus
32gb $1049
128gb $1179
256gb $1309

Can somebody from marketing call Tim and tell him that crying people in a music video is not to end a presentation on a high note, but on low note. How about starving children the next time? :/
I was wondering if the radiation levels from the new iPhone finally exceed federal standards. It looked like they all died.

I hope that continues. I just found out I have a pension from HP because of having worked for a company, that got acquired by a company, that go acquired by HP. Maybe I will see some extra latte money in the future.

Or you could save yourself a lot of money and not buy one at all?

Consumerism at it's finest.

Listen; YOU ARE NO MORE COOLER, OR RESPECTED IF YOU OWN THIS DEVICE.

If you want to 'just swim' - you can still do it, without a an expensive electrical diode on your wrist.
You mean it won't turn into an emergency floatation device if I get a cramp and start drowning? Damn! Someone fire Tim Cook now!

Hi
I'm finding this system works well for me and has given me an insite into android and how inexpensive their mini computers are.
thanks

BTW: I do the same: 3.5 cable from my 6S plus to AUX port in car stereo.
Var charger (USB) with lightning cable to charge.

Not elegant and cables are annoying.

BUT, I tried wireless transmitters and they are terrible. Seems there is no really free of noise or interference FM frequency available.
Maybe Apple, Google, etc. can get the government to open up a WiFi channel frequency on FM?

Explosive Samsumg for me guys. I am bored of this apple s&^%.

"COURAGE".

FU apple, I will use that courage and change ecosystem.
Did anyone else picture Phil in a lion suit when he said "Courage"

**** Apple Watch. **** Apple Watch Bands. iPhone 7, the best iPhone Apple has ever created. Hasn't every new iPhone been the best iPhone ever? The next iPhone will blow the new best iPhone away. And so it goes. And lost in all the hype and ridiculous music is that fact that Apple, once upon a time, used to make computers. Anyone remember that? I don't think that Apple or Tim Cook do. I don't think they care. Apple's soul has grown as small as its net worth has grown large. This is awful to watch. When my Apple Care expires on my iMac a year from December, I'm going to look around, rather than simply buy another iMac. The landscape is really moving. I hate saying that.

"One of the things Ford Prefect had always found hardest to understand about human beings was their habit of continually stating and repeating the obvious", Douglas Adams wrote in HHGTTG. Since the time of its writing, there's been a major breakthrough in the field of obviousness, thanks to Tim Cook and Phil Schiller. They managed to coin and repeat the only known phrase ever to short-circuit an Obvious-o-Meter, as those aren't designed to handle obviousness levels above 100%. Such levels simply weren't believed to exist until Apple proved otherwise.

It's been estimated that the phrase in question would register as high as 118% Obvious on the current scale, but we may never know.

I am of course referring to "This is the best ...... we've ever done!". The stuff I scream at the ceiling every time they say that is possibly my best work.

I am completely stunned at no new Mac announcements. The entire product range is SEVERELY out of date and consequently severely overpriced. Unbelievable.

I don't want a Windows laptop for personal use, but I am seriously starting to doubt if I will just have to do that. There just aren't any Macs coming out and I'm not in the market for 4 year old CPU and GPU technologies.

There was never going to be any Mac announcements at this event - Sept has almost always been an iPhone event.

Pro Tip: They're not single use.

They will be once one of them is lost.

Wait, so are those $159 earpod things not Bluetooth? Just "W1"? So they can only be used with the iphone 7?

"High end DSLRs can't do real time deep depth preview on their screens."

Phil - I assure you you're wrong and just demonstrated a shocking lack of knowledge about what DoF is!

No, they actually can't give you a live preview because it requires stopping down the aperture, which is exactly what the DoF preview button does. Since the iP7+ has two cameras, it can preview different depths of field in real time.

Even DSLR's can't do real-time depth of field preview? Haha, they all can.
Only when shot wide open. You have to use the DoF preview button to stop down the aperture to preview depth of field at other apertures.

YAWN, I reduced my expectations but they were still to high.

You know that the Huawei P9 can already do what what the iPhone 7 plus can do with the update coming later this year? With the Huawei P9 you can take pictures and adjust the focus afterwards on the fly. For example you make a portretphoto of two persons sitting behind each other, you can sharpen the one you like and as much as you like while blurring the surroundings.

For me it's obvious Apple is falling behind and it's also obvious that Apple does read macrumors. I haven't heard Tim saying 'amazing' 'thrilled' or 'you'll only see this from Apple' once :D

Yikes! That's almost a new iMac. Well 'new' is overrated.
[doublepost=1473283735][/doublepost] It's a new record! The most expensive phone in the world.
