And the trolling continues....

It's not trolling, these are pretty "last year" products, nothing of great interest at all and I've had iPhones since the 3G and upgraded each year, my contract's up now and I'm going to see what the best Android can offer is before I mindlessly get the 6. First keynote where I've been disappointed with everything.

True. There's always naysayers like some above. They're just trolling, nothing more. Of all smart watches, at least this's the best one with all apps integrated, functionality and refinement.
What I concern is price. Will it be too expensive or just affordable. I think it's: $299, $349 and $399 for Watch, Sport Watch and Edition Watch.
Im getting the gold one.. even if have to pay a $1000 for it...

Ladies and gents, it's now official: Apple has lost it's cool. I see old, pudgy men trying to sell me some very uncool, unimpressive product.

RIP

It shouldn't really be a surprise; Apple was what it was because it was run by this archetypical semi-sociopathic genius (but not the engineering type). He smartly surrounded himself with "old, pudgy men," aka engineers and software developers, who could actually get the work done.

Once the leader is gone the remaining team of (very capable) engineers and business people have to take over. The results are still solid, but they no longer have the "spark" that only comes from having a proper mad genius at the helm.

And of course no company is going to go out and actually try to find another crazy visionary to lead them because the odds of that working out well are slim (also you have stockholders who would panic). The only remaining choice is to retreat to being a very solid, but less exciting tech company.

The watch so far seems quite uninteresting to me. I was hoping for more health sensors than heart rate.
Like a mammogram?
Your useless comment lacks hilarity. An oxygen sensor would have been nice, or any of the many other sensors that could be installed.

my 1974 timex still works great, i doubt i'll be replacing it with this
It may work well, but nobody likes looking at it and they know you're cheap.

I'm as deep into the Apple eco-system as anyone, but today, was uninspiring - I'm buying the 6, because I need a new phone BUT I'm not running to place my order.

So basically the only thing this digital crown does is zoom. Otherwise you are going to be touching the screen. Not exactly how the original pitch went "your fingers will be blocking the screen" so we put one feature in the digital crown. lol

Honestly?

I think they added that little knob just because it looks like the winder on a old watch.

I do not see any other reason to add that except for nostalgia.

American Airlines has created an app already for the Apple Watch

still the worst domestic airline lol
