I lost all interest when the Apple TV was taken off the agenda... hopefully that rumor was wrong and they end up showing the new hardware and app store today. To NOT introduce the new app store at wwdc just seems to be incredibly wrong to me...

The report that they are changing app store rules for subscription services, would make sense to go in line with an App Store on the Apple TV (a device that would run into this a lot).

ANyone know the direct stream link for those of us stuck on non-Apple products at the moment? I've used VLC to do this before.

Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) kicks off today at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco, with the event headlined by the traditional keynote address beginning at 10:00 AM Pacific Time / 1:00 PM Eastern Time.

In line with tradition, Apple is expected to provide the first looks at iOS 9 and OS X 10.11, with the company also announcing a fresh push into streaming music led by a new Apple Music subscription service and a revamped iTunes Radio. Apple is also expected to debut new tools allowing developers to build native Apple Watch apps and perhaps make some additional announcements related to Apple Pay and HomeKit.

Apple is providing a live video stream on its website and via Apple TV.

In addition to Apple's video stream, we will be updating this article with live blog coverage and issuing Twitter updates through our @MacRumorsLive account as the keynote unfolds. Separate news stories regarding the event announcements will go out through our @MacRumors account.

Time for the Craig Federighi comedy hour :)

Three predictions for WWDC:

1. A pretty girl to run across the stage. Would liven things up a bit lol.

2. Tim Cook to make a broth. It should be fine, so long as there are no mirrors nearby.

3. Craig Federighi to sing a duet with Kylie Minogue 'Sealed with a Kiss' to celebrate the latest version of Mac OS 'X'.

has this started yet? still not seeing anything on the live stream...

apple store has not gone down. Thatnis a sign of no new hardware. Hope i am wrong.

And yes it is WWDC not WWHC.

Was just hoping

I'm so pumped! Passed my driving test first time, literally about an hour ago AND there's an Apple Event tonight! This day is GREAT! :D

Considering the next event will very likely be the annual iPhone event in early September, we'll only be waiting for about 3 months for another event. Plus then there's usually an October Mac/iPad event.

Prepping for the apple car? but but... its driverless :D
congratulations by the way! :)
