Why is everyone talking about hardware being announced? If we do it will be a surprise but I am not expecting that one bit.

Why are you talking about people talking about what will be announced, as if YOU know any more than us? We know nothing... it's 27 mins, be patient :)

"Pharrell and Trent Reznor spotted up front, suggesting music will indeed be a big focus."

Also suggesting one hell of an odd duet to finish the show with!

oooooookkkkkkkk, just the history of WWDC thats all but I will let ones imagination roam...

I don't fill my mind with imaginations and "hopes" - it remains neutral - that way no time is wasted on false and/or raised "expectations", and redundant online rhetoric and idiocy.

I lost all interest when the Apple TV was taken off the agenda... hopefully that rumor was wrong and they end up showing the new hardware and app store today. To NOT introduce the new app store at wwdc just seems to be incredibly wrong to me...

This is what I am hoping for, it seems to fitting to give developers access to TV kit at WWDC - to launch in the Fall

Has the Apple Store's AppleTV button always read "Starting at $69"? Seems weird that it wouldn't just say "$69" if there were only one ATV on sale.

Apple no longer supporting Newsstand? It is one ugly App BUT what happens to my magazine subscriptions? Who's handling refunds?

Wow, didn't realize it's starting in 20 minutes. Must be my lack of excitement. Not to say good things won't come from the keynote, just nothing to stay up all night about.

I think El Capitan/El Cap were on the list of names Apple had trademarked that was shown around this time last year? Makes sense if it's mostly a "Snow Leopard" type upgrade which focuses on improving stability and performance. Very excited for that! They should move to a tick/tock cycle for all operating system releases. The current yearly schedule just isn't sustainable. Have one year be 75% stability and performance, 25% new features, then the next year 75% new features, 25% stability and performance.

It's going to be difficult to live up to last year's keynote where they introduced so many new things. People in general are going to be really disappointed by performance and stability improvements—BUT it really is NEEDED!
