Many Samsung users wanted Apple features, but when Samsung copied them they got sued to high heaven by Apple, and slated by all the tech press.
Why should it be any different when Apple copies Google/Microsoft/Samsung features, just because their users want them?
Uh no. Completely wrong. I highly doubt Samsung users wanted their phones to look like Apple so Samsung decided to copy the design and built-in battery right after they attacked Apple for the very same thing. Samsung copies the look and feel of Apple products, not the software features. Get it correct please.

It's ALWAYS different when Apple blatantly rips off everyone else, it's because it's users want those features.... but those nasty Asians should be sued SUED I tell ya! That's what people on here usually relate to anyway. Hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Didn't hear a single thing about bug fixes, about my damn iphone still rotating it's screen when it's in portrait mode. Crashed apps, etc.
You can fix that in settings.
If that doesn't work complete shut down and restart
Had to do that twice, now it's okay.

I think it is other apps impacting that. (For me it was Sirius, which is a mess of an app)

I was rather waiting for 'And Another Thing. :p' ... but, alas, there wasn't. Solid incremental improvements, which is fine, unless there are bugs.

Underwhelmed? That word is too impotent to express my sentiments for Tim's interpretation of what "One last thing..." should deliver. Please allow me to clairfy that I AM NOT a "Steve wouldn't have done this" person, but this is clearly a Steve Jobs catchphrase, and, as such, one that has long been associated with exciting products or announcements, held back until the end, in order to leave people with a "BOOMSHAKKALAK!!" level of excitement.

The delivery did not match the build up which he attempted to create, and all we were left with was a deflated feeling and a snoozefest of "Apple Music" piffle and waffle. This WAS NOT worthy of "One last thing...", which is a powerful weapon, the likes of which it seems dear Tim is ill equipped to operate adequately.

Please, kick all these rap/hiphop/whatever "artists" out of Apple, they don't belong, and bored the crowd to tears as that bloke with the Apple badge on his "vintage jacket" meandered aimlessly all over the place, getting to no real point of note.

Q: Is Tim Cook saying "One last thing..."?

A: There's a nap for that.

Again, ripping off design and adding similar features is completely different. Samsung and Google crowbar unrefined OS features into Android in order for people like you to scream, "THEY DID IT FIRST," like that even means anything. I'm sorry you can't wrap your head around this concept, but to call us racists or xenophobes for not liking Samsung's business practices is ludicrous and shameful.

I had low expectations but after I was done with the keynote I was very impressed. So many new features and little things I can't even cover because I have no idea where to start. So pumped for iOS 9 and OS X el capitan...and it won't cost me a cent and I get to try apple music for three months to see if it's enough to leave spotify and have deeper integration with iOS and OS X. Can even play a song from siri. So I get iOS 9, new OS X, and get to try apple music for three months with an absolute TON of new features and improvements that will keep me busy figuring out...and I haven't gotten an Apple Watch yet so when I do i'll be able to look forward to the new Watch OS. Oh and iPad multitasking! I'm a very very happy camper. Would've liked to see a revamped apple tv but since I just bought one not long ago i'll be able to get more life out of it. Was overwhelmed with the event with the ton of new improvements and features that I couldn't keep track...that's a good thing. The beauty of it is it won't cost a penny! And I can share Apple Music with a couple family members for 14.99 instead of paying 9.99 for spotify. Also I don't see why people care who does things first. Windows has taken things from OS X over the years and vice versa, Android has taken things from iOS over the years and vice versa. Good artists copy great artists steal and give it their own twist and make it better. It's good for us consumers.

With Windows 10 around the corner, this WWDC might be a historic moment... And I don't mean that in a good way for Apple.

The Windows 10 launch is hugely important.

It's the first time an OS has existed solely as an apology to the enterprise install base. MSFT should be proud.

Many gamers don't play on the latest hardware. You can still have an excellent gaming experience without the bleeding edge graphics. That being said it would be nice to have an option for SLI and things like that on the higher-end iMac configurations. Perhaps if they move to the 32" size there will be room, lol.

It doesn't have to be bleeding edge, but the iMac tops out at AMD Radeon R9 M295X (which is a $300 upgrade on top of the value of the M290). A fairly cheap GTX 960 humiliates the Apple top end. The 50% faster GTX 970 is still cheaper than Apple's upgrade fee. Apple is really pathetic in graphics, it's not a bleeding edge issue.

Utter rubbish, and I can tell you've never used a modern Android handset. Also interesting how you've apparently taken my comment as calling you a racist or xenophobe! I didn't realise stating facts meant that. Perhaps you would class people as racist to Americans too if i stated Americans must be sued SUED I tell ya.... which would be funny seeing as I think America wrote the book on suing.

Yeah people around here just don't get it. For most uses it's fine, but mobile devices are pretty limited. The reason their tabs don't stay open? Well partly because Safari sucks but also because of limited RAM. Also helps apps to keep from getting closed out when switching around in the background. And now this multitasking. I'm amazed at how many people are upset that only the Air 2 gets the advanced multitasking when my iPhone 6 with 1GB of RAM has enough trouble running stable without crashing.

They didn't drop support for any devices. That's pretty crazy. Some might say they price gouge but how many Android tablets from spring 2011 and phones from autumn 2011 are going to be able to run Android M? I hope the optimization just isn't doublespeak. iOS really needs a cleanup.

Yes, so long as they have 'fixed' iOS with version 9 then all will be good, but I will definitely be waiting to see what it runs like on older devices first.

I reboot daily and it happens daily. The iPhone doesn't "just work".. if by just work meaning the reboots work, yes.. the reboots definitely work.

I love how we expect new hardware announcements to be on sale at WWDC. Yes, it's happened before, but this is primiarily for software developers. Not sure why people are so upset, but if you're a developer, any time where Apple opens up their APIs and creates those 'kits' are going to make our apps better in the end. And that's the point of WWDC. Wait till Sep/Oct for their annual hardware updates.

Spotify is missing quite a few artists. If those artists are on Music it's bye bye Spotify.

I get what you are saying. But I'm not sure if it's worth switching just so we can get that few extra artists. The price point certainly doesn't help much. I know a lot of people with extensive Spotify playlist and such, I don't know if they are going to jump ship.

Well, even if it was a somewhat lackluster event, Apple still makes the most profit, and that's all the consumer cares about. :p
