True it's not new tech. But the PSVita and 3DS don't have the A10 processor and Metal2 backing them up. Which I think will make the difference in the long run.

AR suffers from needing a lot of active processing and image (depth) recognition. And that's coming along. AR has more long term uses than VR, especially on mobile devices.

We'll see...... I don't believe anyone cares about it.

Hmm the power in the new iPad Pro 10.5" looks tasty, I dread to think of the UK price though.. think I'll keep my 9.7" Pro..

Affinity photo and designer on an iPad Pro is a game changer if it has all of its desktop functionality. Lookout adobe

Infinity Pro - just what all us pros will be using now. Just $4.99 in the app store.
I am so excited I poked my eyes out as I jumped.

Why are you protecting Apple? I used to be like you, just be satisfied with whatever they release, not anymore...this is just disappointing and I'm a BIG apple fan.

Nobody is protecting Apple. I just don't think they deserve anywhere near the amount of negativity and bashing some users are heaping on them. Cries to bring back Scott Forstall. WTF?!?!?!

Time to get an Intel NUC

Ridonkulous pricing from apple. $4999 for a computer that you can never upgrade. Once it dies after your 2 year warranty, that's it.

Let me buy a Threadripper cpu, throw in some SLI GPU's, get 64GB RAM, and some SSD's and I won't hit $5k plus it will last me years. Windows 10 sure, so what!? MacOS isn't worth this kind of premium.

Over the last three weeks, I've been building several PC part lists on pcpartpicker. I can make a screaming (overclocked) 6-core i7 machine with dual M.2 drives and 32GB of 3000MHz DDR4 ram, and paltry 1070 GeForce graphics card for $2,200. And it's all upgradeable. ...the price won't change much when Intel releases the new chips and mobos later this month. :)
