What about access to external storage systems connected by USB-C.... do that and many of my grumps will be forgiven.

They're making iOS 11 look awfully a lot like MacOS. I suspect they're going to merge the two systems in a couple of years.

Omg that dock thing is seriously cool. This is better than any concept I've seen! The iPad Pro is starting to look like a viable computer now. Holy crap!

Over the last three weeks, I've been building several PC part lists on pcpartpicker. I can make a screaming (overclocked) 6-core i7 machine with dual M.2 drives and 32GB of 3000MHz DDR4 ram, and paltry 1070 GeForce graphics card for $2,200. And it's all upgradeable. ...the price won't change much when Intel releases the new chips and mobos later this month.

So not even close to an 8-core Xeon. Got it.
