Under the Product Red nano, there has always been a little tag that says "Apple Store Exclusive"

There also seems to be one under the yellow nano. Just nothing above it.

I can't seem to figure out why. I can't think of any prominent bands that sing about anything that's yellow... </pure uninformed speculation>

Makes NO sense to me. Why would I want to buy a new iPod Touch to replace my 16gb? I think apple's christmas business will suffer from people NOT replacing their current Touch.

Because it is the same hardware as the 3GS. Once games start to take advantage of OGLES2.0 you won't want to deal with the fall back.
