I think this just points out the difference between the platforms. The Touch has been positioned as a mini-computer that is also a gaming device. And a good way to consume video content.
Seems like the Nano is the flagship iPod. Without Wi-Fi, Safari, Apps, and the like, the Nano needs features that will keep buyers in that platform. So, here comes the video camera, FM tuner, built-in Nike+, etc.
All of this makes sense to me.
