Any hints on whether or not iLife '08 is gonna be bundled with Leopard? I would hate to buy it now, only to buy Leopard in 2 months and duplicate my buy.
Given that the leopard pricing has already been announced (US$129), I'd say there's no way whatsoever iLife will be bundled.

im sorry but well the silver and black really doesnt look that good

I'm holding off judgment until I can take a better look at them on Apple's site or in person... tough to form a good opinion just from these screenshots so far, at least for me...

If the keyboard and mouse are wireless why do they show wires in the slideshow?

Depends on which one... the Radeon HD line is also known as the X2xxx series. The X2900 is quite nice, and compares favorably to the nVidia 8800 overall...

Not really from where I'm standing, but yes - it's highly unlikely to be the 2900XT even on the high-end models. (ah, beaten to it by the keynote pix :D - super low end cards then as usual :p)

I like the look of the new keyboard. Likely has to be scissor action, so typing precision will increase over the terrible old keyboards. That's a welcome. Would fit the look of the Macbook Pros better as well, I presume it'll be sold separately. I'll definitely be picking those up as an upgrade / change from the Apple keyboards I still have and my Keysonics.

the white was/is much nicer

also reminds me of a dell or similar pc
Looks much more pro than the previous generation. I'm a bit tired of the all-white approach. It looks very nice to me. Just too bad the screen doesn't go to the edge of the aluminum bezel...

Oh and looks very classy-even prettier and lovelier more than HP's Touchsmart

Your joking right? The CPU and graphics card have had a pretty large upgrade.

What can these "pretty large" upgrades allow me to do that I can't do now? Nothing. Without a much lower price point, and the ability to swap out decent graphics cards, the new iMac doesn't do anything much more than the old iMac.

Ups and downs...

The MacBook style keyboard is awesome and a smart addition to the iMac. I know there were plenty of naysayers back when they were launched but it really is a beautiful thing to type on. Fast and comfortable with good spacing and response. I wonder if this hints at a unification of keyboard design across all lines? How many weeks/months before we see redesigned MBP's with MacBook/iMac style keyboards.

Can't wait to see what effect these new Alu-iMacs have on the resale value of the white-plastic ones. Might snap me up a bargain. Whoop-de-doop!

I'm soooo glad I didn't wait to buy my iMac last week. Glossy? UGH!! IMHO, these new iMacs are ridiculously ugly and not much of an improvement inside over mine.

I don't like the black border around the screen. WTF? The keyboard in the picture with the mouse and the computer has a number pad...

actually, just read that the wireless keyboards (Bluetooth) doesn't have the numeric pad and the wired USB keyboards do. As far as the black border around the screen, it helps when you're watching movies. This is why alot of laptops coming out these days have a black border around the screen.
