Reality Distortion field not working...

Is Steve Balmer behind the building with a jamming device or something?

I am watching the show but the RDF seems to be broken.
I don't like any of this stuff so far. :(

It's nothing so revolutionary that it will make people rush to get one if they have a current white Intel iMac. The black plastic back is ugly. It should have been all aluminum if that is what they were going to use.

I fail to see how "events" are different than folders? This is how I sort my pics already! Does it automatically split them when imported based on date?

That is how I 'use' to do it with Google Picasa. I loved seeing the photos grouped by date, it made finding things much easier than iPhoto. I wish Picasa would come to Mac. I guess I will have to settle for iLife '08 now.

very few people actually use the numeric pad anyway so it's nice that they trimmed the keyboard down. Maybe they'll give you an option to order one with the numeric pad (like the prototype one)

So...apple moving the eject key actually made perfect sense

It's amazing they give passes to Engadget and Gizmodo, two of the most anti-Apple blogs out there. Just read the live Engadget blog. Any chance they get they take jabs.

im sorry but well the silver and black really doesnt look that good

the white was/is much nicer

also reminds me of a dell or similar pc

Well, I won't be buying an iMac (I hate all-in-ones), but that keyboard! I know what I'm buying this weekend! I hope they're available. I've been dying for a keyboard like that since I tried them on the MacBook. Love it.

Any hints on whether or not iLife '08 is gonna be bundled with Leopard? I would hate to buy it now, only to buy Leopard in 2 months and duplicate my buy.

OMG you guys, this is HYSTERICAL

So I just called my local Apple store about the new keyboard and iLife, and the guy was HYSTERICAL

"Officially, nothing is official until Apple officially announces any officially new official products, as I'm sure you're getting your information from an unofficial Mac rumors site, nothing has been officially announced." and on, and on...

I was CRACKING UP, and so was the guy. I asked him if he gets asked that a lot, and of course he said "officially speaking, I have officially been asked unofficial information more often than I would officially care to announce..."

and lastly

"have an officially great day"

ROFL

Officially awesome :D

Since the internal specs are only a moderate upgrade, we're supposed to pay MORE for some silly stylish upgrades? Doesn't make any sense to me at all.

The new iMac is just the old iMac in a fancy suit. If this is what passes for progress...

HP and Dell must be cheering right now.

Your joking right? The CPU and graphics card have had a pretty large upgrade.

Uh this is Apple a company that charges a lot extra just to get a black laptop computer.. Anyways the specs are quite upgraded. The 2.4 ghz processor is a desktop processor I believe. And the cards went from 1600s to 2400s.
