Siri will never be as strong as Alexa and Google Assistant because Apple just doesn’t harvest data as aggressively. You either have a great assistant or you have more privacy. Having both is difficult.

At this stage of AR's development it appears to be a technology desperately searching for a purpose. Further down the line, yes but at the moment, meh!

The only thing I can think of is Apple wants devs creating AR experiences now so when they launch glasses there will be a bunch of apps ready to be used on day 1.

I dont get this Lego thing.. you have real toys in front of you, why would you still use a iPad?

It's used to sell Lego kits... that's it. The fact Apple couldn't find an innovative software effort generating a revenue stream (successful) is telling. ARKit is not going anywhere beyond the paradigm demonstrated (marketing app).
