That’s because it has 2GB RAM right? That makes all the difference. My Air took a big hit with 11 but 11.4 improves performance a lot.

Air 2 has 2 GB RAM, yes. That was the reason it got split-screen in iOS 9 while the Air 1 did not. iOS 8 has no split-screen functionality though.

I wish they could come up with some way to flag the pictures I take of price tags, parking spaces, handwritten notes, etc, so they don't include it in those sharing/video slideshow tools.
