Is this really surprising to anyone. Every year this is brought up and clearly Apple does not value dark mode in iOS. Smart invert is likely as close dark mode will achieve.

It's 1 feature in 1 app that is likely popular among teenagers. I don't use it and it certainly doesn't negatively affect my iOS experience. Just seems like something to complain about.

Apple used to be a serious company. There's nothing wrong with Animojis but the prominence given to them makes a statement in itself.

Animojis take away resources from developing software that might be innovative and actually useful rather than concentrating on novelty gimmicks....again.
