I guess its because people that graduate from college these days with tech interest never mature more than about 12 years.

There’s a huge number of people, including lots of people in my peer group of development professionals that would much rather use a 1st party/native app.

Apple have just made watching paint dry exciting what has been announced so far could have been announced in less then half the time. They are missing some of the important points like will macOS APFS support fusion drives. Most of this seems to be we are fixing the bugs in iOS 11, macOS 10.13.
I honestly don't care about Dark Mode that much personally, but I think it's kind of funny that they just can't introduce it. How hard could it really be? There must be a reason why they specifically don't want it.
Yawn, I don't see that i'm waiting a significant amt of time for any of those things as it is. Cutting a few seconds here and there, big flipping deal.

So the only real iOS upgrade is the performance boost. Seriously, why are they wasting so much time and budget to create these useless animoji things and not try to create a decent Dark Mode for iOS like everyone's asking?? "Memoji"?!? What are they doing? I'm starting to lose hope for Apple once again...
There is a dark mode, they have smart invert and it works decently. The issue is 3rd party developers who don't code their apps to follow it, what is really missing is Apple just making it mandatory to have smart invert coded into the app.
