Hardware is literally not the priority of WWDC, it’s about the developers and the software. I’m not sure why some has the expectation that hardware should be a primary.

I think one of the problems here is that this is a developer's conference. Basically Apple is vacuuming up a lot of things that developers would do. This is all app store stuff.
