That’s it I’ve got to walk the dog before it’s too late haha.. great event though I have to say and Craig my friend, you have seriously made me think a LOT more about the lurvly new iPad Pro....
Seriously, it's been a PERFECT clear, 70º cool sunny day here in Philly.
I'm here in a dark office watching this ---- missing life.

You could have walked outside to have lunch and had a pigeon poo on you or be run over by a bus.

I like the idea of the iPad Pro but as it seems to still lack mouse support, I would also have a Microsoft Surface Studio. But if they do bring mouse support to the iPad Pro then I’d be tempted to have that as the only device.
Let's wait for the final version. I can't see them advertising full mouse support. But with it being rumored to be an accessibility option, this bit from today's keynote

"Moving cursor, can pick up and drag it where you want it to go. Selecting text, put your finger down and drag out a selection. No double tap, no magnifying glass.
Updated text editing. Grab a scroll indicator to move through a document."

sounds as if it might possibly tie in with a mouse accessibility option (though no full support).

Very impressed with Apple for once, although the good stuff is sandwiched between silly superfluous fluff

Whew, it was expected but now I can finally relax and find peace knowing the new Mac Pro and the display is not for me. Truly is for professionals

I just can't justify $6K. The barrier to entry is too high.

The Mac Pro makes a lot of sense if your work is mission critical and you make enough after costs to put towards a new unit. Of course, a fully loaded system will likely hit $35,000.

so eh... mac pros always had a somewhat high priced entry point and with good reason, but they started at reasonable prices and lower hardware and you could go as high as you want after that. So many people out there got the base mac pro and upgraded later to higher hardware as their business grow alongside their needs.

Now they start at almost maxed out? I understand they want to sell iMac pros but this is shooting themselves in the foot, because even with the iMac pro out, people still want headless macs in reasonable prices that they can upgrade or get a mac pro at an entry price and upgrade step by step later as they make money of the machine and the can afford ugprades.
