All that and Apple ends up locking its customers into a two year contract. Seems like the only winner here is Cingular.
Sorry, but why spend millions of dollars in R&D to come up with a locked phone? I don't get it?

In the end, the other phone manufacturers will upgrade their phones and make them available to Sprint and the other carriers.
The iPod's beauty is that you can use it no matter what computer you use. The iPhone locks you into one carrier and a contract, to boot.
