Thanks. It looks like I'll have to camp out on the 25th. Does anyone know when we might be able to reserve it?

I'm guessing you don't have a credit card? I spoke to Apple yesterday and my understanding is that you will be able to make a reservation at 12:01 tonight. The reservation line is always separate from the camp out line, but they don't set that up until the morning a bit before the store opens.

Yeah, if you're flexible with the color, I suspect that will make a difference. Definitely happened with our watches, both 42mm Sport, hers was silver/white, mine was SG/black, she got hers ~4 weeks before mine (in fact, the first day of shipments).



I'm curious about the month-to-month through Verizon, for existing customers. If I go through the motions on Apple.com, I see the subsidized or full price, nothing about monthly carrier. So I'm assuming that has to be done through Verizon.com, but I'm just not sure if it's available at all through an online order[?]

Unfortunately we have to go through Verizon for the device payment plan. I would prefer to go through Apple but I'm telling myself that others feel the same way so I'll only be competing with fellow payment plan people. That's probably my optimistic nature...

OK, yeah, I just stepped through the verizon site, checked both of the existing phones, upgrade, got this:

So I guess at 3:01am EST, the iPhone 6S and 6S+ will be shown and selectable ...

So I guess at 3:01am EST, the iPhone 6S and 6S+ will be shown and selectable ...

That's the impression that I'm getting also. I wish they would create a page for the phone that we could just refresh and wait for a "checkout" type button.

It's not there. You won't be ordering anything tonight if you use that anyways. You'll just be reserving an in store appointment to complete the order on the 25th.

I'm practicing the walkthrough on the Apple Store app, trying to buy a Verizon 6S at full price. However, I can only get past where I enter my Verizon account/billing info, then I select the 64gb and Space Gray but nothing beyond that. When it goes live, I assume it'll give me the option after that to choose full price?

There are now conflicting reports about whether we will be able to reserve devices through the appointment reservation. I just can't see how it would work unless we are able to "order" a phone through our reservation? What happens if your appointment is at 5pm? You walk in and set up the program and then have to wait for the phone to be delivered to your house?

I am planning to take advantage of Discover's extra 10% cash back promotion on top of their double cashback promotion (totaling of 22% CB) by using Apple pay.

Yup. That's why I'm doing separated pre-orders. If the upgrade program falls through somehow, I'll just do it through Next.

I'm the same way. I was upgrade eligible as of 09/10 but for some reason Apple doesn't show that like verizon does
