Do I need to have a Verizon Account, if I want to order the Verizon phone and I am paying UP Front?

Does anyone know the limit of how many you can order per customer? I need to get 3, so will I be able to purchase them all on 1 credit card? or do I need to use 2 credit cards to purchase 3?

I don't know about credit cards.... but previous years it was one phone line per submitted order/cart..... I tried putting both our phones in one cart and couldn't check out til I removed one... I used the same credit card for both phones....

i'm still undecided.... it hurts my head!

I do know: 6s+ and 128GB, at&t next plan

where i'm undecided is pink vs gray.... I have always gotten black or gray. I put a skin on usually anyways (although with the last black phone I used a clear matte skin that was GORGEOUS! but I digress)

I have issue with the white bezel... if the rose gold is pinkie enough for me (going to look at the watches tonight to see) then I really need to decide if I can stand the white bezel for a year.... (it's not like I can walk into a store and exchange it for gray/black bezel cuz they'll most likely be backordered)

however I recently found a black with white polka dots skin at slickskins that I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY love.... if i'm going to use that anyways... might as well just go gray w/black bezel!

i'm so not good at making decisions!

at least it was easy picking my ipad mini 4 color! (although the capacity for that became an issue!)

do you see a trend here? NOT a good decision maker! and for the love of god do NOT ask me what's for dinner tonight!

I'm totally in the same boat. I love the fact with the black bezels they are invisible on the screen whereas on the white devices you can see where the screen is....but it's PINK...ugh no fair.

I'm using the Apple Store app to practice buying my 6S for tonight at full price, keeping my exisiting plan with grandfathered unlimited data. I'm going through all the steps with a regular iPhone 6, and when I get to the page to select a data plan, and it isn't giving me the "Keep existing plan" choice. I can only choose to keep my base and messaging but the data plan part is asking me for one of their new data plans! Anyone have any idea what to do here?

I use ATT go plan. So im on prepaid, i just select the t-mobile no contract phone. That's what should work, Since all phones are unlocked

Hm, so I shouldn't even bother putting in my Verizon account info, just buy the T-Mobile unlocked phone full price and put my Verizon sim in it when it arrives?

Yes you do. I'm doing mock runs and it asks for your Verizon #, even if paying full price. Go for the T-Mobile one.

I'm noticing you cAnt purchase more than one via the store app?

i believe you can order max 2 via the web.

Yeah ive been playing with the app as well. When you get to the 3 options i choose buy contract free iphone , then you get the t-mobile unlocked phone (not sure why it says t-mobile) Even at the apple store they told me that whenever you buy a phone out right then its automatically unlocked.

64GB 6S plus, pink, I'm going with T mobile over the phone as well. super nervous especially since i would wager that exact phone will be hardest to get. Wondering should I call at 3am on the dot or 10 mintues prior? i just want it overwith :p

I'm gonna keep up on here and on Reddit r/Tmobile and see what people say up to 3am. If people call a few minutes earlier and are able to wait till 3am on the phone with a tmobile representative than i'll do that. Otherwise i'll call at 3:01am. Most i'm willing to wait is 1hr or 1hr and 10 mins. After that I may hang up and get up early and go to the store right behind where I live and pre-order it there.

Rose gold may be hard to get dude :( Luckily i'm going with gold. Space grey and rose gold will probably be tough.

Does the t-mobile version work on Verizon's network? I thought Verizon/Sprint still required the CDMA model, has that changed from last year? Sorry I haven't read the whole thread if this has already been addressed.

It should.

Hey peeps. I got a few questions.
I plan on pre ordering tonight via apple payment plan.
1. The payment plan gives you an unlocked model right? Not specific to any carrier?

2. Does the unlocked model get all of the T-Mobile bands that they made a big deal about at the keynote?

3. Can you buy the phone outright with the payment plan and then own it and sell it?

Thanks

Anyone?

1. Not sure. but i believe so. it will be based on ur credit with hard credit pull
2. Yes (all models do)
3. Yes, you can buy it out by paying remaining balance.

It should.

According to the tech specs on apple.com, there are still CDMA versions - I think if you intend to use it on verizon and buy the t-mobile version you're going to be unhappy. I think t-mobile would work fine on at&t, but not verizon or sprint.

sooooo just left Apple Store...... assuming that the iPhone will be the same rose gold as the watch.... I'll be ordering space gray tonight...

I just spoke to an Apple rep who seemed very confident with his answer. He said that we should go through the process and pick our phone out and that at the end there will be an option to pick it up in the store. At that point we would make the reservation. He said a hold will be put on the credit card but when we pick the phone up the hold will be taken off and we'll be charged for just 1 month.

He said that the reservation will absolutely reserve the specific phone in our cart. Of course the phone and reservation will be subject to availability depending on when we put the order in.

Its completely absurd for Apple to not allow us to take advantage of this program online. Having to go to the store is BS.

Im getting mine from the store of my carrier. Every year they have a bunch in the store for hours.

Anyone know if preordering for in-store pickup will be available again this year? Worked out great last year.
