So I assume the Apple month to month purchase options will show in the app once ordering is live?

Can I buy a 6s on the apple month to month without validating my lines upgrade status at Verizon? This should be the same as buying at full price, just paying apple monthly. Correct?

Yes, and yes. The Apple monthly purchase plan counts as a full price "bring your own device" purchase, not as a "subsidized-through-a-carrier" purchase. I confirmed this with two different AT&T reps (not Verizon, but the end result is the same). It doesn't matter if you're eligible for an upgrade or not to use the Apple monthly payment plan. It's also getting you a carrier unlocked phone.

Will be trying to pre order tonight over the phone with T-Mobile :( Gonna order 128GB 6S Plus Gold.

Hey peeps. I got a few questions.
I plan on pre ordering tonight via apple payment plan.
1. The payment plan gives you an unlocked model right? Not specific to any carrier?

2. Does the unlocked model get all of the T-Mobile bands that they made a big deal about at the keynote?

3. Can you buy the phone outright with the payment plan and then own it and sell it?

Thanks

I am planning to take advantage of Discover's extra 10% cash back promotion on top of their double cashback promotion (totaling of 22% CB) by using Apple pay.
I am using discover too, do I have to log on to get that? I already put my credit card into my account info in the Apple Store App, does that mean I am signed up for Apple Pay?

It won't work until iOS 9 comes out, which is on the 16th.

Hey guys so how does it work so if I miss the pre order window by like 10 mins will the shipments move back like to October? What happened last year? I can't get it on 25th as I'm out the country so I'm trying to time it so I can get it on the 7th October!!??

Ok, never mind I see it doesn't work with older iPhones.... I have a 5. I still should be able to purchase online tonight with just my credit card?

There are now conflicting reports about whether we will be able to reserve devices through the appointment reservation. I just can't see how it would work unless we are able to "order" a phone through our reservation? What happens if your appointment is at 5pm? You walk in and set up the program and then have to wait for the phone to be delivered to your house?

I just spoke to an Apple rep who seemed very confident with his answer. He said that we should go through the process and pick our phone out and that at the end there will be an option to pick it up in the store. At that point we would make the reservation. He said a hold will be put on the credit card but when we pick the phone up the hold will be taken off and we'll be charged for just 1 month.

He said that the reservation will absolutely reserve the specific phone in our cart. Of course the phone and reservation will be subject to availability depending on when we put the order in.

Did he say whether the monthly plan was subject to a credit check? Curious because they haven't mentioned that anywhere...

Does anyone know why it's going to be a solid 2 weeks before delivery day? In the past it was more like 8 or 9 days
1 week in the past. Announcement on Tuesday, followed by pre-order on Friday of same week, and launch 1 week later on next Friday. This time, it's 2 weeks. I have a feeling that this will give them time to deliver more phones in time for the launch.

I am upgrading an iPhone 6 Plus 64gb space gray to an iPhone 6s Plus 64gb space gray on Verizon with another 2 year contract. Gonna try the Apple Store app and the apple website first and maybe try through Best Buy if they turn the switch on earlier since I have so many reward zone certificates...

I'm giving the 6 plus to my mom who's line I always use to upgrade every year along with my line. She's stuck with a 4s right now so she's really excited.

Good luck everyone!

Sprint master race checking in. I'll be upgrading from an HTC One to a 6s 64GB in space gray on the Sprint iPhone Forever plan. Good luck everyone.

Do I need to have a Verizon Account, if I want to order the Verizon phone and I am paying UP Front?
