That was exceedingly easy. Managed first-slot reservations and an online order for 9/25. Much, much better than the Apple Watch fiasco.

Ordered mine through JOD upgrade with T-Mobile over the phone - pretty painless and got an active order number. I also ordered one thru Apple fully unlocked for 9-25 delivery. Both 6S+ 64gb SG.

Got in to the apple app at 12:07 (kept closing and reopening and that is when the store popped up). Ordered 128gb space grey 6s+ and it said delivery on 9/25. Hoping it is true

got iPhone 6s plus 64gb silver T-Mobile using Apple Store app, at 3:26AM EST
still awaiting email confirmation

iPad App went live at 3:03am EST, but could not get my order in. At the same time, I kept refreshing the App Store on my iPhone. The App Store on my iPhone finally went live at 3:06am EST which I was able to get my or in for a T-Mobile 6 plus in Silver 128gb at full price. I thought that Verizon would offer their at full price unlocked, but NOPE !
I am hoping that the T-Mobile I ordered is indeed unlocked ?!?!? .....

Also received my email confirmation of a September 25th delivery date... Woohoo

They won't deliver later than the date on the confirmation.

I got my order in with a 9/25 ship date. Unfortunately, it defaulted to my work address and it had the wrong zip. Will Apple cancel this order automatically? If I update the shipping address when this order goes into processing will it change the shipping date? :(
You can change the info before it goes into "preparing for shipment" and it should be fine.

$40 upgrade fee for Verizon pay in full option.

I was pretty po'd when I saw that on mine as well, however after doing some digging I'm not sure it will actually apply to our orders. I assume you have an existing VZ line. I read Verizon FAQ's regarding 'upgrade fees' and it specifically stated "the upgrade fee does not apply to devices purchased at full retail price". A lot of times Apple's pages will populate with generic Verizon jargon, so I'm actually betting that even though it says there will be an upgrade fee, it will never come to fruition on your VZ bill.

Ordered a Rose Gold 128GB 6s Plus via the Apple Store app. Went fine. Have learned from previous years that the app is the best way to go. Last time I checked the online store was still down for me.

I see other people got the upgrade fee from Verizon? How can they charge a fee to buy a phone when I bought it at full price? Makes no sense. Hopefully it's just an error. Also; does the T mobile unlocked work on verizon?

It's the same with AT&T, I bought full price, but I still got charged $15 from AT&T. The FCC should slap them with another fine.

I was not able to select the Apple Installment option. It would only let me select the ATT next program. And I was eligible for a full upgrade so not sure why it wouldn't allow me to select the Apple plan.

So I took Applecare+ and the ATT next plan (12 months). About the same price.

Yes is GSM unlocked.. For sim cards. Verizon doesn't use sim cards though.

How do you buy one with without a contract? I cannot find how to buy one at Apple.com and I tried using the app but it says I need iOS 8.0 or higher and I have an iPhone 4 o_O

I want to give Apple $805 but they won't let me.

Was my first non-disaster preorder. Fell asleep on the couch around 1am eastern but fortunately heard my alarm. Couldn't get apple.com to work; however got into the iPhone app and order placed at 3:09am for delivery on the 25th. 6s Silver 128gb with Verizon at full retail.

Order 6s Plus ATT 64gb space grey for shipping on 9/25. The in store pickup is already sold out of ATT 6s plus space grey, 128gb silver and rose gold of the same model.

That explains why I didn't get the option to pick up instore. I hope I can change the shipping address.

I saw that too. However, in the order total amount I only see the iPhone price plus the tax (I paid full price cause I am on contract since iPhone 6). No $40 fee. Will Verizon include that in my bill? I will call them 1000 times to waive it, it is ridiculous!

Well one order (only one from att) was cancelled...

That's good since I was gonna cancel it anyways. (Fraud alert on my chase card declined it I guess)

Got my order conformation email. Delivery on the 25th. Didn't want to take off work to pick up my phone. Good luck to all of you still trying. Got a $15 upgrade charge for att Next. Did we pay one of those last year as well?

I need to check that page for AT&T. Bought a full price 128gb rose gold 6s and it gave me a $15 upgrade fee. Dumb but I will go see if what you found for Verizon is true for AT&T as well.
